Gamescript: In order for the Eagles to pull this off, they need to get out in front early and in order to maintain the lead and sit on the ball with Barkley and Jalen rushing. The Philly birds have trouble playing from behind so it’s critical they take a huge lead and force the Chiefs to play from behind.

That being said I don’t see this as being a huge Barkley game. On the flip side, King Patrick Mahomes needs to attack the middle of the field, using his legs to extend plays while dinking and dunking to the likes of Kelce, Noah Gray, and JuJu Smith-Schuster. Brandon Graham (DE) for the Eagles has been on IR making the middle of the field the most vulnerable aspect of the Philly defense. It’s worth noting he may play in the Super Bowl as his possible last game with Philadelphia, but I’m not confident he will be at full strength leaving this area as the best one to attack with one of many weapons at at Mahomes disposal.

I have the Chiefs accomplishing what’s never been done in the NFL becoming the first team to 3-peat by win 3 championships in a row. Even though the Eagles have a better roster top to bottom on paper versus the Chiefs in this matchup, but this years Chiefs team is arguably the best one they’ve had playing in the Super Bowl. I’m giving advantage Chiefs because of Mahomes and the coaching staff. He’s gotten it done with Sky Moore, Mecole Hardman and Kadarious Toney, and until a team can take him down, he will find a way to get it done again and remain King.

  • Come playoff time he runs. He was recently quoted, and I’m paraphrasing, “ I ask these guys to put their bodies on the line every single week. So I have to do it as well when it's do or die time.

  • Rushed 6-44 yds the last time they met up in the Super Bowl 2 years ago. 

  • Last week he went 11-43.

  • Last year's Super Bowl he had 9 attempts for 66 rush yds.
