About CritiThink
We hope to make you look at things a bit differently. There is no right or wrong. Everyone can have an opinion, if that opinion comes from some sort of intellect behind it. It can’t be because you saw and read something online and end up feeling and repeating those sentiments about a film or show you haven’t even viewed yet. I didn’t like it because it “sucked” or “it’s nothing like the book”, or you hate the people involved making it, is not acceptable either.
We are writers trying to take ownership of our work instead of a Big Corpo.
We have no industry ties, we are students and historians of the artistic medium which we love and cherish. Movies helped us escape and not feel alone as immigrants, and sports allowed us to fit in. We don’t subscribe to group think, we aren’t afraid to have unpopular critically thought out opinions, therefore you won’t find us posting thoughts on the socials, such as Twitter, Tik- Tok, or what it’s known as theses days, Insta, to better block out the white noise. Social media is not where you get a different perspective. Sure it has it’s moments, but it’s predominantly a cess-pool lacking any bit of creativity or original thought.
